Raul Zelada-Aprili will talk about how Bolivia has managed to control inflation in recent years including the current period with higher inflation rates in Latin America and the world in general.
His paper draws mainly on structuralist insights to explores the Bolivian inflation dynamics in the past decade (2012 2022) and the anti-inflationary policy framework in place that has allowed the country to stabilize inflation at low levels.
Raul Zelada-Aprili is an assistant professor of Economics at Trinity College. He specializes at the intersection of macroeconomics, economic development and political economy.
