Seth Baumrin, Chairperson of John Jay College of Criminal Justice’s Department of Communication and Theatre Arts, Artistic Director of Subpoetics International (France), Literary Director of A Laboratory for Actor Training (Brooklyn), and Artistic Director of Gershom Theatre in L’viv (Ukraine).  As a theatre historian he is the author of “Trace Elements of Kyivan Modernism: the Les Kurbas Legacy in 21st Century Ukrainian Performance – March 2015” in Tension and Recognition.
