Born in France, Roxane Revon studied philosophy at the Sorbonne University in Paris and Roma II in Italy (Masters degree). She then continued her education with certifications from Yales School of Drama ("A practical approach to directing) and Stanford GSB (Ignite program) in the US.
A professional award winning stage director and a visual artist (as RooN) who worked with companies such as Actors Studio PD Unit, Diffractions, Subpoetics, United Solo Festival (awarded in 2019), Opera on the James, Dell'Arte opera, Roots & Wings theatrical and L'Atelier Theatre NY, a company she co-founded in 2015 in NYC. She also worked as as a guest artist at Columbia University and a drama teacher at L'Atelier and John Jay College for more than 6 years. Credits include: Amahl by Menotti, The Opera on the Tames, Linchburg, NC ; stage director and designer for the John Jay College Theatre Department (2019-2015) presenting plays by Ionesco, Caryl Churchill, Molière, Albert Camus ; stage director and designer for L’Atelier Théâtre NY at The Theater for a New City (2019-2013) presenting plays by Giraudoux, Ionesco, Feydeau, Molière, E.E Schmit (2015-2020) ; guest director for the Actors Studio PD Unit, The Madwoman of Chaillot by J. Giraudoux (2015) ; director of the first American production of Jean-Luc Lagarce’s Music-Hall, produced by Diffractions at the Roy Arias Studio Theatre (2014) ; French Clichés, a production in Bryant Park, in presence of the French Foreign Office Minister, at the event « Taste Of France » (2013) ; director for the Duct Tape and Dream festival, presenting Two Shall Meet by Charalie Cristo and Menteurs by Colette La Pointe (2012-2013) ; director for Lauren Rayner Productions, No Exit by Sartre performed at the first live-streaming festival Wired arts Fest (2013) and in South of France.
She is currently working as a multi disciplinary artist on the "Garden Memorial" project in NYC and Portugal (Buinho residency).
