Cedric Johnson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Services. He earned an MSW at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and an MDiv and PhD at Princeton Theological Seminary. He has over fifteen years of experience serving as a psychotherapist in outpatient mental health treatment settings. His clinical practice and publications have focused on spirituality and mental health and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions in communities impacted by neoliberal globalization and colonialism. Cedric is the founder of the Kinetic Center, a non-profit organization that seeks to be a catalyst for human flourishing through holistic health, the creative arts, spirituality and community justice.
