Alison Perry grew up in Colorado and attended the University of Colorado-Boulder for her BA and MA. Her PhD is from the University of Texas-Austin. Alison has been teaching literature and writing in the New York City area since 2005. She currently teaches Eng 101 and 201 and serves as an administrator in the English Department's Vertical Writing Program.
